Steve Moir has been promoted to the role of Operations Director of Texo Integrity, Texo Group’s one-stop-shop for inspection and energy asset management.

Steve recently re-joined Texo to be Head of Operations, Oil and Gas for Texo DSI’s business in Scotland. He brings with him over 25 years of experience in business leadership and inspection engineering in the North Sea and other international energy basins.

As Operations Director for Texo Integrity, Steve is in ideal situation to continue leading the growth of the business. Steve added: “I am passionate about reducing or eliminating the time personnel spend in difficult, unpleasant or risky environments which is why I am excited about developing the prospects for Texo Integrity. We offer clients consistent and reliable compliance and reporting tools through innovative robotic and digital 3D visualisation technologies. This is delivered alongside multi-disciplinary teams offering traditional asset inspection, repair and maintenance skills which get the job done. Leading the adoption of technology which increases safety and saves time and money is truly my ideal role.”

Steve is an acknowledged industry leader with over 25 years’ experience spearheading the introduction of new technologies to the petrochemical and marine industries. He offers a demonstrable track record of leading multi-disciplined teams of engineers and technicians in complex engineering environments, with a dedication to the safety of people and the environment.

With expertise in the delivery of risk-based assessment and inspection planning, Steve has developed a range of testing regimes necessary to create the technical tools and competency requirements to deliver credible, reliable, and consistent technologies and products to the marketplace.
