Intermediate Survey - SBO Pacific Orca
Texo Integrity+ were commissioned to carry out the Intermediate Survey of the Swire Blue Ocean Pacific Orca Jack Up vessel while quayside in Esbjerg.
The works carried out were in accordance with those identified in DNV-GL In-Service Inspection Programme (IIP) with Class Programme DNVGL-CP-0484.
Texo Integrity+ mobilised a 6-man multi-disciplinary Rope Access Inspection team to carry out the works identified in the DNV-GL Survey Extent Report.
Whilst on-board, additional Rigging & Lifting work-scopes were identified, utilising existing on-board personnel to execute these – negating the requirement for the client having to mobilise additional personnel and equipment (thus representing an operational resource saving).
Post project feedback from the client has been outstanding, with excellent scores across the spectrum for the project delivery metrics.
Specific client comments included:
“The Texo team were very flexible with daily work to fit around the vessel operations, also carrying out ad-hoc scopes as they arose.
All paperwork (Daily TBT’s/RA’s/Rescue Plans) were produced daily and were specific to that day’s operations.
We are very happy with the service provided – the team followed the ship’s SMS at all times.”
Phillip MacDonald, Managing Director, Texo Integrity+ commented: “This is another very successful project completion for Texo Integrity+. Our experienced, capable and importantly, flexible, approach represents a step change in service delivery for clients.”
