After our successful Graduate Engineering programme which saw Michael Grogan become an Engineer and a nominee for the ‘Rising Star’ category at the TEXO Annual Awards, in October 2021 TEXO Engineering & Fabrication enrolled two new graduates into the TEXO Design Academy Programme – Finlay Coghil & Thomas Duncan. Starting as Junior Designers, the training and development plan will expose Finlay and Thomas to areas of structural, mechanical and piping design within the first year, with a view to selecting a specific discipline in the second year of training. The Junior Designers each work alongside their discipline mentors to develop their software skills and subject matter knowledge, working on live projects within the sectors of oil and gas, renewables, fabrication and offshore construction.
TEXO Engineering and Fabrication’s culture is to invest in young people, to train and develop these individuals to become an essential part of the business for the future.
