He was founder, managing director and laterally chairman of TRAD Group; one of the largest independently owned access companies in the UK. As Chairman, Hayden has been instrumental in the formation, funding and strategic development of TEXO. Hayden heads the TEXO executive board of directors; providing support, counsel and oversight to the leadership team as the business grows and evolves.

Chris is an industrial business leader with over 30 years’ experience in a variety of sectors including construction, survey inspection and technology. He has been instrumental in the growth of TEXO DSI, which delivers state-of-the art surveying and inspection systems to sectors including oil & gas, renewables, nuclear energy and construction. He is responsible for the ambitious growth plans for TEXO as it expands its reach across the oil & gas and renewables industries in the UK and abroad. Chris was a director of TRAD Group, one of the UK’s largest independent access companies and played a key role in the sale of the business to the EUR1billion ALTRAD Group.

Alan Conway is a veteran marine engineer with 20 years of experience. He has managed multi-million-pound offshore and energy projects all over the world. Previously Director of Port Services, Alan is now responsible for TEXO’s growth and expansion into new markets. Overseeing all aspects of brand management, Alan represents TEXO at events and ensures that every division delivers an exceptional brand experience.

Managing Director Debra Bruce brings over 10 years’ experience within a sales and recruitment environment, 4 of those as Managing Director of an Independent Recruitment Firm with a multi-million-pound turnover. Debra is an extremely driven individual, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team through an economic recession, while continuing growth. She brings in-depth knowledge of temporary and permanent recruitment services. Starting her career as a Recruiter, working with a broad range of companies in the construction industry Debra is passionate about recruitment and ensuring the team at TEXO Recruitment continues to operate at the highest possible service levels.

Pat is an experienced businessman with over 25 years’ service in the digital applications marketplace.
During this time, he has worked with numerous companies including multinationals such as Siemens, FirstGroup PLC, BP and TOTAL. Operating at director level, his primary role was to build strong relationships between customers and vendors to ensure that product delivery met customer expectations.
Pat now uses his knowledge and experience in developing and marketing digital solutions to ensure that his clients get the best technical solutions for their business. Pat is both technically and commercially focused and has a strong passion for digital innovation as well as the desire to pass on his knowledge in how to develop, market and sell digital offerings. Pat has an extensive knowledge in areas such as digital intellectual property, licensing and support.

With over 20 years of experience in Airport infrastructure projects, Alistair recognised that there was a need to develop a smarter solution to the issues facing the Airport.
The introduction of Modular and Off-site build is the key factor to shape the future of cost-effective and efficient Projects.
Once established in this field, Alistair recognised ACS could further support the Industry using the modular concept to provide Modular and Transportable Baggage Screening Products. This was a gamechanger for ACS and the Airports, now the issue of extra capacity requirements, maintenance, or even outage can be averted using his innovative design.
As a keen innovator, Alistair went on to develop the Screening Products further to now include a range of Baggage, Cargo, and Person Screening facilities which now reach beyond the Airport Sector into Event Security, Defence, and Military.
Financial Director
Gordon is an experienced finance professional with over 25 years’ experience working within several local accountancy firms as well as finance departments within the oil and gas industry. Gordon has a BA(Hons) in Business Studies from RGU and progressed to pass his ACCA professional accountancy qualifications.
Since then, he has worked, and gained, vast experience and knowledge in running finance departments of many different sized companies from SME’s to PLC’s within the oil and gas sector. Roles include finance supervisor, through to finance manager, financial controller and now finance director at TEXO. Gordon sees his ability to communicate with all levels of the business as a major asset in running a successful finance department.
Commercial Director
Mark has over 30 years of experience in financial and commercial risk management. He began his career in banking before transitioning to management roles in oil and gas contracting companies.
In his current role at TEXO, Mark is responsible for supply chain management and client relations. He works with the 8 divisional directors and the management board to meet and exceed the company’s growth goals.
Mark is a client-focused individual who seeks to build collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with clients. He also protects the company from financial exposure by negotiating contracts that are fair to both parties. In addition, Mark manages the interface with external stakeholders, such as trade associations and government funding bodies.
