Marsh Street - New Bracket and Guide Rail Installation

The Challenge

We recently worked with a client to install a new bracket and guide rail to a wet well. This required a clear safety case, as water rose up the well every five minutes, so we needed to manage the repair and maintenance whilst
keeping our teams safe.

The Solution

We completed this project without incident by:

  • Pre-rigging a 3 to 1 system allowing for easy maneuvering into work position using IRATA Level 3 Supervisors skills and adhering to ICOPS.
  • Replacing corroded fixtures with stainless steel to prevent corrosion.
  • Use of a water-activated sealant and wall plugs to prevent falling out in the future.
