We were awarded a contract by an oil and gas service company to manufacture a new prototype slewing wireline support frame, which needed to be installed onto an existing offshore crane pedestal. Specifically, we were asked to deliver:
By offering a single supplier approach, we delivered a comprehensive manufacturing service, including being able to import the customer’s own designs and making changes to suit an efficient manufacturing process. We were able to cover all areas of fabrication, from materials procurement to welding, testing and coatings – all within the customer’s extremely tight timeframe.
We were able to deliver on this new concept design, which had tight tolerances for installation onto an existing offshore crane pedestal. The client was extremely pleased that we were able to do this despite a very tight timescale and initially incomplete fabrication drawings.
