TEXO Engineering & Fabrication was asked to fabricate a Blending Skid Base Frame complete with internal pipework with full assembly trial fit, inspection and hydrotesting. We were also asked to lift-test the complete blending skid, and to coat the frame and pipework to the client’s specification.
Our client chose to work with us because we could manage the full programme of work, including managing and communicating with other third-party sub-contractors.
We worked closely with the client and other subcontractors to ensure that the project was managed smoothly. We undertook a trial assembly of the spools to the skid, and needed to make up dummy spools to replace the valves, which were not available for the trial assembly period. This allowed us to check that there would be no clashes when the project was handed over to the client.
