We were asked by our client to refurbish their onboard canteen. They wanted a bright, colourful solution to make this a welcoming place for crew to eat and gather together.
The scope of the project included a new ceiling, lights, wall coverings, tables and bench seating. The client also wanted all the stainless steel equipment replacing. We also needed to take up the old floor tiling and replace with modern epoxy resin.
We put together a design for the canteen that took into account all the practical requirements of the job, and presented professional visuals to show them how we would introduce brand colours and additional designs to transform the canteen into a place that the crew would feel positive about. We designed a scope of work to be carried out with as little disruption as possible.
The whole refurbishment project took just three weeks, and our project scope and planning meant that we were able to work offshore and alongside the working crew in order to complete the project to the client’s satisfaction.
