Delivering new school facilities within a live educational environment presents significant logistical hurdles. The project faced three primary constraints:

• Restricted Access: Limited entry points and the need to manage vehicle movements to avoid conflict with school operations.
• Safety & Disruption: The requirement to minimise noise, dust, and personnel presence to protect the wellbeing of pupils and staff.
• Tight Timeframes: A pressurised schedule that demanded a faster, more predictable route to completion than traditional build methods could offer.

TEXO Modular adopted an off-site first strategy, shifting the majority of construction into a controlled manufacturing environment. This approach included:

• Logistics Sequencing: Delivery routes were defined early and time-slotted to avoid peak school hours, ensuring “just-in-time” delivery of components.
• Safeguarding-Led Planning: Site activity was compressed into short, disciplined installation windows. This reduced the physical footprint on campus and maintained strict segregation between the works and the school population.
• Parallel Workstreams: Two distinct blocks – a teaching wing and a comprehensive welfare suite – were manufactured simultaneously to ensure the entire facility was “day-one-ready.”

The project delivered high-quality, immediate-use facilities with minimal on-site variables.

• New Teaching Accommodation: A 150+ sqm layout including two 64.6 sqm classrooms, a communal area, and integrated storage/WCs.
• Comprehensive Welfare Suite: A fully functional block featuring dual 31.8 sqm changing rooms, showers, Doc M facilities, a staff room, and plant room.
• Project Certainty: By moving work off-site, the team reduced site hours and vehicle movements, resulting in a safer, calmer campus.
• Seamless Integration: The modular units were designed to connect cleanly with existing services, allowing for rapid commissioning and immediate occupation.
