By 2030, we will have reduced our carbon emissions by 20% on a baseline of 2023. This equates to a figure of ~1250 tonnes CO2e in 2030.

Our objectives

Initiatives to meet our operational net zero targets include:

  • Growing our electric fleet at each site over the next ten years.
  • Increasing our involvement with projects within the renewable energy sector.
  • Selecting renewable utility providers with certificates of origin.
  • Actively reducing emissions at each facility.
  • Developing technology in house to help TEXO and others to actively reduce emissions through their business activities.
  • Reducing our indirect emissions from purchased goods and services.

We are confident that the target will be achieved provided that all actions are implemented in accordance with the intended timescales. We call on all our partners to join us on this journey. Your collaboration and dedication will be vital to our success.

We have made a clear commitment to reducing our current impact on the environment and putting processes in place to help us towards our goal of becoming net zero by 2040. This is important to us, our teams, our customers, and our communities, and we are serious about changing what we can, where we can, to be a truly climate-conscious business.
