TEXO is committed to giving back, and establishing the TEXO Foundation has enabled us to support a diverse range of groups and people. It’s all about strengthening our communities and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

The Archie Foundation was one of the first causes that we started to work with. Archie’s supports families affected by chronic illness. We’ve helped them to improve facilities at the hospital, throw fundraising events, and even deliver presents at Christmas – and we’ll continue to work with this truly inspirational charity.

Have you spotted the TEXO logo front-of-shirt at a local match? We sponsor Witham Town FC, Blyth Spartans and Aberdeen FC, providing practical things like banners and advertising as well as financial support. The Foundation also sponsors some young and talented boxers – Dean Sutherland from Aberdeen and Tommy Hodgson from Blyth.

Enabling young people to follow their dreams and find opportunities is close to our hearts. We work with local schools to bring kids to Port of Blyth and learn about our facilities; team TEXO has recently installed a new kitchen for Kirkhill Primary and a bespoke carriage platform for Dale Specialist School.

Group Managing Director

We created our own charity, the TEXO Foundation, and this isn’t a bolt-on to our work. It’s become part of our day-to-day – it’s becoming the foundation of everything we do. Now directors have all become involved and they’re all asking the same thing — what impact can TEXO make beyond our business?
