TEXO Workspace Solutions were requested to carry out the Design, Manufacture and Testing of an insulated and lined VSD Switchgear container for the Valaris 123 Offshore Installation.
The design of the container was carried out by TEXO Workspace Solutions and approved by the end user prior to manufacturing commencing. Due to project time constraints, the structural aspects were based on using a modified offshore rated shipping container with the fabrication works being completed by a TEXO appointed contractor.
The internal fit out including insulation, linings, lighting, small power, ventilation and HVAC and installation of client VSD and transformer was carried out by TEXO Workspace Solutions at the Westhill facility. All works were completed on time, to budget and signed off by the client.
